Women in Leadership Summit 2022

The inaugural EU-ASEAN Women in Leadership Summit: Empowering Women, Empowering Our Future is the EU-ASEAN Business Council’s attempt at contributing to the conversation on gender equality in Southeast Asia, with hopes that the discussion and ideas generated would build on the foundation and good work already done by other champions. Further, building on this year’s theme for International Women’s Day “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow,” the Summit will explore the role of women in leading the effort on sustainability – climate change mitigation, ending poverty and hunger, improving access to education and so on – to leave behind a world that’s habitable for future generations.

The Summit will feature female leaders from across ASEAN and the European Union who will share their life experiences, challenges faced to get to the top, and concrete ways to give power to women as they so deserve.
