The ASEAN Mayors Forum 2022 was hosted and co-organized by the Phnom Penh Capital Administration and UCLG ASPAC on December 1-2, 2022, at the Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel and Residence in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Mayors, governors, representatives of ASEAN cities and local governments, regional partners, and U.N. institutions were among the more than 300 attendees at the Forum, which aimed to improve cooperation between ASEAN cities. H.E., Mr. Hun Sen, the prime minister of Cambodia, also attended the meeting, making it the first AMF to be attended by the head of state and the first AMF that accompanied MGMAC.
The AMF Secretariat creates a proceeding report of AMF 2022 Phnom Penh following the conclusion of the AMF meeting in Phnom Penh. This procedure emphasised the meeting’s structure, the attendees, the outcome, and the meeting’s conclusion. The attendees can recall what happened during the meeting by reading the minutes. Additionally, those unable to attend could still access the meeting summary via the proceeding.
